Mission worldwide

• It is estimated that 140 million children worldwide have lost one or both parents (UNICEF 2020).

• 149 million children living in developing countries are severely underweight (WHO 2023).

• One in five children suffer from at least one form of severe deprivation of basic needs such as water, food, and sanitation (UNICEF 2023).

• 14,000 children under the age of five died every day (Oue World in data 2023).

• 43,3 million children are refugees, displaced, or forced to flee their homes due to violence or natural disaster (UNHCR 2022).

• 244 million children of primary school age do not go to school (UNESCO 2023).

We at H2O-Help to Orphans ry have worldwide experience in orphan care but at the moment our focus is on helping in South-East Asia.
